and Alfred Rose have sold Christmas Trees to local outlets for
over 20 years and during that time have built up an enviable
reputation for their quality and freshness. All trees sold by
them until 1993 were grown in a traditional Woodland
environment. The decision was taken at this time, to expand the
Christmas Tree operation and to begin a planting programme on
Sandy Loam soil which had previously been arable land.
In the Spring of 1994 some 45,000 trees
were planted. The very highest standards of husbandry have
ensured that a very large selection of top quality trees will be
available from 1998. In maintaining a high standard, A
Fillingham Tree now has the reputation of being "The
Tree" to purchase if quality is one of your criteria of
